I was using the same method I have always used via System Properties and renaming computer or joining domain, with no luck.
I navigated to the "accounts" setting and "access work or school" setting, followed the prompts and entered my domain "mydomain. It asked for domain credentials and I had to do a restart. I had created the computer name in Active Directory previously, so it found the computer account and was joined to the domain.

Now we have to turn it back on again if we want Edge to work! This time its on Microsoft as we can all easily just use Chrome or Firefox. WOW at a loss for words.
Must be hit-and-miss among devices. IPV6 makes no difference, and if I try changing my work network to Public, I won't be able to get any work done. After looking at all of the adapters I found that my Ethernet adapter needed a driver update. Once I updated the driver and checked the Wi-Fi adapter for updates as well Edge worked once again.
